Service Disclaimer

Last updated: 15 August 2026

This page explains the status and limits of the services offered under the name Apostille Assist. It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions.

1. Independent Private Service

Apostille Assist is an independent, privately operated document-assistance and coordination service.

We are not a government department, ministry, embassy, consulate, court, public authority, or official government website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or appointed as an authorised or outsourced service provider of any government or public authority unless we expressly state otherwise in writing and can verify that statement.

References to government bodies, embassies, consulates, the Ministry of External Affairs, the Hague Apostille Convention, or other official organisations are used only to identify the authorities, procedures, or destinations relevant to a customer’s request. Such references do not imply affiliation or endorsement.

2. What Apostille Assist Does

Depending on the service confirmed in your quotation, we may provide administrative assistance such as:

  • explaining generally applicable document requirements;
  • conducting a preliminary review of documents supplied by the customer;
  • helping prepare forms, checklists, or supporting paperwork;
  • coordinating notarisation, translation, courier, collection, submission, or delivery through suitable third parties or official channels where permitted; and
  • providing status updates based on information available to us.

We do not ourselves issue apostilles, attestations, legalisations, visas, certificates, or government approvals. We also do not provide legal, immigration, tax, or diplomatic advice. If professional advice is required, you should consult an appropriately qualified adviser.

3. Official Authorities Make the Final Decision

Every apostille, attestation, legalisation, verification, acceptance, rejection, or request for additional documents is decided by the relevant government authority, embassy, consulate, educational institution, notary, court, or other competent organisation.

Requirements, official fees, processing practices, and timeframes may change without notice. Apostille Assist cannot control an authority’s decision or guarantee:

  • approval or completion by a particular date;
  • acceptance of a document in India or another country;
  • acceptance for employment, education, immigration, marriage, business, or any other intended purpose; or
  • the absence of additional requirements, verification, delay, or rejection.

Any timeframe communicated by us is an estimate based on the information then available, not a promise by the deciding authority.

4. You May Use Official Channels Directly

Customers are not required to use Apostille Assist. Where an authority permits direct applications, you may apply through that authority or its officially designated channel and avoid our professional assistance fee.

Amounts charged by Apostille Assist are for private assistance and coordination. They are separate from government, embassy, consular, notarial, translation, courier, payment-provider, or other third-party charges unless a written quotation clearly says that a particular amount is included.

Before proceeding, review the service scope and price shown in the written quotation or invoice. Official information for Indian apostille and attestation procedures should also be checked on the Ministry of External Affairs website or the website of the relevant authority.

5. Website Information

We take reasonable care to keep website information clear and current, but it is provided for general guidance only. It may not reflect the latest rule, fee, form, jurisdiction-specific practice, or requirement applicable to a particular document or destination.

Do not rely on general website content as the sole basis for a deadline, travel plan, admission, employment, immigration filing, commercial transaction, or other important decision. Confirm critical requirements with the receiving organisation or competent authority.

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. Apostille Assist does not control their content, security, availability, or privacy practices.

6. Responsibility

Apostille Assist will use reasonable skill and care in providing an accepted service. We are not responsible for an authority’s decision, a change in official requirements, or a problem caused by inaccurate, incomplete, altered, unlawful, or late information supplied by a customer or third party.

Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits any non-waivable consumer right. Detailed service responsibilities and reasonable limitations are set out in our Terms and Conditions.

7. Acknowledgement

By accessing or continuing to use this website after this Disclaimer is made available, you acknowledge the independent status and service limitations stated above. A service relationship is created only as described in our Terms and Conditions; merely visiting the website does not by itself place an order.
